Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Bret Ibarra
Dr. Bret Ibarra is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After two years of residency, he obtained his Pediatric Dentistry certificate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch. At that time, he also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. During his pediatric residency, he received extensive clinical and didactic training in treating children with special needs, cosmetic dentistry, and the use of sedations in dentistry. He also has extensive pediatric emergency and trauma training after serving as an on-call pediatric dentist for two years at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. He is certified in both Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Ibarra is involved in numerous dental organizations, which promote research, education, comprehensive quality oral health, and the prevention of dental diseases. Among these are the:

Dr. Ibarra currently teaches part-time as a Faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He also likes to give back to his community by volunteering with Special Olympics Special Smiles, Give Kids a Smile, and March of Dimes.
Dr. John Howe
Dr. John Howe was born and raised in a rural farming community in northwest Ohio. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served for eight years as a hospital corpsman. He remained in the active reserves for seven years and was recalled to active duty during Desert Storm. He attended college at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated Cum Laude in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. While attending college, he worked full time as a blood bank technician at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, where he met his beautiful wife.
Dr. Howe attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Texas. After graduating in 2001, he remained in San Antonio for three years working as a general dentist with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He then moved to Philadelphia for his pediatric dental training. He completed his residency at Temple Episcopal Hospital in 2006.
Missing the Texas hospitality, Dr. Howe moved to Houston with plans to open his own pediatric dental practice. In the interim, he worked as an associate with three different pediatric dentists. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Howe currently resides in Sienna Plantation with his wife and two cats. He is an avid fan of baseball and college football. During his time off, he enjoys music, movies and video games. He likes bicycling and weight training to keep in shape.
Dr. Adrienne Archidiacono
Dr. Adrienne Archidiacono, known as Dr. A, is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. She attended Northeastern University and went on to earn a masters degree in medical sciences at Boston University Medical School. She earned her dental degree at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She moved here to complete her pediatric dentistry training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry, as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
Dr. Archidiacono has extensive training in esthetic pediatric dentistry and stays up to date on most current techniques through continuing education. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and most importantly, she is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
When Dr. Archidiacono is not here treating patients, you can find her traveling, running marathons, or teaching yoga! She may be a diehard New England Patriots fan, but she is proud to call our warm Texas weather HOME!
Dr. Olamide Osundolu Atanda
Dr. Olamide Atanda, better known as “Dr. Dolu (doe-loo)”, is the newest addition to the Houston Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics family. Dr. Dolu, is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist that joins us following completion of a pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD). Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Dolu, completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering with a specialization in polymers. Dr. Dolu is a quadruple alum of the University of Florida, as she recently completed her Certification in Executive Practice Management for Dentists and is a certified dental consultant. After completion of her B.S. degree Dr. Dolu, completed a Master of Science degree in Public Health at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee prior to entering dental school at UFCD. She also completed a dental service trip to Ecuador with Project H.E.A.L and is an advocate for public health dentistry. She was the recipient of the National Health Service Corp Scholarship while matriculating through dental school and worked for two years in a public health clinic.
Dr. Dolu, enjoys working with children of all ages as well as patients with special healthcare needs and looks forward to providing preventive and restorative care for the patients at Houston Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics and the greater Houston area. In her spare time Dr. Dolu, enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Quynh Tan
Dr. Tan is pleased to join the caring team at Houston Dentistry for Children and she looks forward to helping everyone achieve the smile they always dreamed of!
Dr. Tan grew up in Canada. She received her BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from McGill University. She attained her DDS degree from the University Of Toronto, where she was recipient of numerous awards including the national Eaton Award for Excellence, the provincial Ontario Dental Association Proficiency Award, the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award, and she was an O.K.U. Honor Dental Society Inductee. She then completed a General Practice Residency to learn about advanced procedures in aesthetic dentistry and surgery, followed by an Orthodontic Residency and a Masters of Clinical Investigation Degree at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
Since completing her training in 2007, Dr. Tan has been practicing orthodontics in Houston. She currently maintains a private practice in Sugar Land and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.
Dr. Tan is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also a Preferred Provider of Invisalign. Dr. Tan is also very involved with several dental, alumni and community organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, baking and playing tennis.
Dr. Levely Castelo
Dr. Levely Castelo was born in Manila, Philippines. She moved to the U.S. when she was 9 years old and grew up in south Texas. She graduated from University of Texas Pan-American with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in English Literature. In her freshman year of undergrad, she was accepted in a pre-acceptance program with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch where she earned her dental degree. She is currently an active member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Greater Houston Dental Society.
While in dental school, she fell in love with Houston and decided to make it her home. Houston is now home for her family, which includes her husband, son and her daughter/dog, Lucy. She loves to cook, bake, and work on DIY projects. She also enjoys exploring the city by trying out new restaurants, going to sporting events and festivals. Although she is a Texan at heart, she loves the Lakers, the Yankees and In-n-out.
Dr. Stephanie Aramwattananont
Dr. Stephanie Aramwattananont (Dr. Aram) is a Houston native and was born and raised in the Cypress area. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Human Biology. Dentistry became her passion after five years in braces and almost every orthodontic appliance ever made. After seeing what an impact it made on her life, she knew that is what she wanted to share with others. She went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston and excelled in patient relations and clinical skills.
Refining and perfecting the "art" of dentistry while transforming patient's smiles is one of the main reasons why she loves what she does. She aims to change people's perspective of the dentist by taking the time to educate patients, involve them in their treatment process and provide them with the highest quality care in the gentlest way possible. She loves seeing patients of all ages, including children.
She currently resides in midtown and loves trying new restaurants and traveling. Her belief is that the best way to explore another culture is through food. She is passionate about animal rescue and has three adopted dogs Chloe, Winston and Buster.
